Obituary for June M. Fagan

June M. (LaRiviere) Fagan, of Harrisville, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence. She was the loving wife of James. F. Fagan. They were married for 51 years. Born in Smithfield she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Claudia (Monjoe) LaRiviere. June was a graduate of Saint Xavier Academy, Providence. June was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a volunteer at the former Father Holland School and St. Patrick's Church food pantry for many years. June worked at CVS and Twin Rivers Casino and was a devoted patron of the Jesse M. Smith Memorial Library. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters: Diane K. Fagan (David Baptista) of Harrisville and Kerri A. Fagan of Pascoag; two sons: James W. Fagan (Melanie) of Exeter and Jonathan P. Fagan (Kimberly) of Harrisville and six grandchildren: Kevin, Lauren and Lindsay and Emma, Daniel and Samuel. She was predeceased by a sister Diana Bethel. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2017 at 8:30 AM from the Boucher Funeral Home, 272 Sayles Ave. Pascoag with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM in St. Patrick's Church, 45 Harrisville Main St., Harrisville. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Burrillville. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the St. Patrick's Food Closet, 45 Harrisville Main St., Harrisville, RI 02830.
