Obituary for Paul W. Ernest Sr.

Paul W. Ernest, Sr., a hardworking, dedicated, loving and helpful husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, 53, of Pascoag, passed away Monday, February 12, 2018. He was the husband of Donna M. (Ferry) Ernest, whom he married September 5, 1987. Born in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of the late Richard and Sybil (LeForge) Ernest.

Paul was a steel worker who enjoyed hunting and working on cars.

Besides his wife, he leaves his children: Paul Ernest, Jr. and his wife Crystal of Pascoag, Carl Ernest of East Providence and Stacey Ernest of Pascoag; two brothers: Richard Ernest of Indiana and Joseph Ernest of Danielson, CT; four sisters: Linda Dibble of Welaka, FL, Mary LaForest of Powell, TN, Lois Labossiere of Harrisville and Nancy Grady of Raynham, MA; three grandchildren: Brooke and Saige Ernest and Braelyn Smith; his sister-in-law Cheryl Proffit of Pascoag and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a grandson Kayson Smith and a niece Valerie Pelletier.

His funeral will be held Saturday, February 17 from 2 to 5 PM with a service to follow at 5 PM in the Boucher Funeral Home, 272 Sayles Ave., Pascoag. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice and Palliative Care, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
