Obituary for Salvatore J. Giaquinta

Salvatore J. Giaquinta, 54, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2017, in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. He was the loving husband of Crystal (Arruda) Giaquinta. They were married Oct. 12, 1986, and resided in Pascoag. Born in Methuen, MA, he was the son of Karen (Blaisdell) Giaquinta of Derry, NH and the late Francis Giaquinta. Salvatore was a self-employed electrician and formerly worked for the Narragansett Bay Commission. He was an active member of the Pascoag Community Baptist Church, faithfully serving with the youth ministry for many years. He often shared his gifts and talents with the National Volunteer Program at Word of Life Bible Institute and Campground in Schroon Lake, NY. Besides his loving wife and his mother, he is survived by a son Michael Giaquinta of Ledyard, CT; a daughter Angela Giaquinta of Pascoag; a brother Kevin Giaquinta of Exeter, NH and a sister Wendy O'Rourke of Chichester, NH, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, church family, and many friends including his faithful furry friend - “Buddy”. His Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, at 11 AM in Pascoag Community Baptist Church, 111 Church St. Pascoag. In lieu of flowers, you may donate to the construction project of a new youth center. Please make checks payable to Pascoag Community Baptist Church, 111 Church St., Pascoag, RI, 02859.
